We don’t consider the job finished until it goes through and passes all the necessary tests. Every task assigned to us is pressure tested and evacuated to the correct 500-micron vacuum. We also see how much heat it can take and ensure it’s adequately insulated.

I’m Christoph, and I’ve been in the air conditioning trade since I was 16. I started as an apprentice and spent years working with a range of companies — from small family-run teams to large-scale operators. I learned a lot from both: how to do things properly, how to work efficiently, and where the industry could do better when it comes to customer care and long-term results.

Just before the “great” lockdown (great timing, right?), I decided to back myself and start ICS Air. I wasn’t chasing quick, big money — I wanted to build something with real values. A business where quality, transparency, and pride in the job actually meant something. I wanted to raise the standard and, most importantly, create something solid for my family’s future.

It hasn’t been easy. There were tough weeks, long hours, and my first grey hairs came earlier than expected. But I wouldn’t change a thing. We’ve grown steadily, almost entirely through word of mouth, and to me, that’s the most genuine form of success.
